R.D. Meyer and Associates, Inc. was established in 1979 by Robert D. Meyer with the mission of simply being a local real estate broker in Southwestern Wisconsin. Robert D. Meyer owned and operated various businesses in the area and was known to be a fair person of the highest integrity, honesty, dealing with all people with a great sense of fair play. Mr. Meyer taught these character traits of dealing with customers, employees, and suppliers to his son Steven which has been a major factor in his success in business.
In 1993 Robert D. Meyer and his son Steven R. Meyer partnered to purchase their first large property which was to be the home of his son's food manufacturing company, "Landshire Granny's Foods", a mid west manufacturer of high quality convenience foods for convenience stores, delicatessens, and vending companies. In the new building, Granny's grew to be a dominant company within its industry until Steven Meyer sold the company in 2005.
The company founder passed in 2004 leaving his half of the property management company to his son and his grand children.
Shortly after the sale of Granny's and the passing of his father, The Meyer family built "Tess Corners Storage" which officially opened summer of 2008. We purchased our first residential multi family in 2007. This 1898 property was completely renovated with hardwood floors, carpet, ceramic tile, new cabinetry, landscaping, garage, and energy efficient windows, furnaces, and water heaters.
Our properties whether new or renovated older properties are of the highest quality using the highest quality materials and building standards. Our projects vary from simple to simply spectacular. We specialize in residential, as well as commercial buildings, and industrial.
